2006年获得华南理工大学电路与系统博士学位，于2005年3月赴香港城市大学电子工程系进行了为期半年的科研合作。2006年6月进入长沙理工大学计算机与通信工程学院从事通信工程的科研与教学工作。2009年4月至2010年4月获得国家留学基金委的资助，赴英国University of Warwick留学访问。
研究方向混沌密码学，信息安全，非线性电路与系统，超宽带通信。
