翻译 生物学术语
翻译是蛋白质生物合成（基因表达中的一部分，基因表达还包括转录）过程中的第二步（转录为第一步），翻译是根据遗传密码的中心法则，将成熟的信使RNA分子（由DNA通过转录而生成）中“碱基的排列顺序”（核苷酸序列）解码，并生成对应的特定氨基酸序列的过程。也有许多转录生成的RNA，如转运RNA（tRNA）、核糖体RNA（rRNA）和小核RNA（snRNA）等并不被翻译为氨基酸序列。生物基础翻译的化学本质是单个氨基酸脱水缩合形成肽链，这一过程需要多种酶的参与。而在体内，多种酶参与的多种化学反应组成了翻译的生物化学途径。就化学层面来看，翻译主要涉及到三个化学步骤：氨基酸的腺苷化（Amino Acid Adenylation）、tRNA装载（tRNA charging）、肽键的形成。作用翻译是中心法则中一个不可或缺的过程，对生物机体的性能有着不可或缺的作用。

1、细胞工程：指应用现代细胞生物学、发育生物学、遗传学和分子生物学的理论与方法，按照人们的需要和设计，在细胞水平上的遗传操作，重组细胞结构和内含物，以改变生物的结构和功能，即通过细胞融合、核质移植、染色体或基因移植以及组织和细胞培养等方法，快速繁殖和培养出人们所需要的新物种的生物工程技术。
2、酶工程：指工业上有目的的设置一定的反应器和反应条件，利用酶的催化功能，在一定条件下催化化学反应，生产人类需要的产品或服务于其它目的的一门应用技术。
3、纳米生物材料：纳米技术是指在0.1到100纳米的尺度里，研究电子、原子和分子运动规律的特性以及对物质和材料进行处理的技术被称为纳米生物材料。
